Directions

Make the Injection

Make a batch of Cluck & Squeal Tasty Hot Butter for the injection, using our large-batch Tasty Hot Butter recipe.

Optional: stir your favourite whiskey or bourbon into the butter for extra flavour, to taste.

Inject the Wings

Mix the injection well, load your injector and inject each turkey wing with the Tasty Hot Butter.

Season with Rib Formula

Liberally coat the wings with Cluck & Squeal Rib Formula. It's low in salt, so you can apply a generous layer!

Cook Until Crispy

Oven: cook at 350°F / 180°C until the internal temperature reaches 180–190°F / 82–88°C. You want crispy skin!

Smoker or BBQ: smoke as desired until the wings reach the same internal temperature and the skin is crispy.

The Finish

Glaze the wings with a quality Canadian amber maple syrup. Serve and enjoy!

Tips & variations

Not just for ribs. Just because it says Rib Formula doesn't mean you can't use this seasoning a thousand different ways!

Mix before you inject. Stir the Tasty Hot Butter well right before loading the injector.

Mix before you inject. Don't like the Heat, just use a butter injection
